  1. I don't want to start a rumor, so please READ this carefully.

  3. I was TOLD by someone today at work that MS announced that plain-old
  4. Windows 3.1 does not take advantage of anything above 8 MB of RAM. Is this
  5. true?
  6.  
  7. I was told that this was 'known' a long time ago, but MS was able to sweep it
  8. under the rug.
  9.  
  10. Please get back to me on this. Sounds fishy, but I wouldn't put it past them.
